In this episode, we spend time reflecting on the life and work of the great apologist, Ravi Zacharias. I share how God used his books in my life, and about five other of my friends share how he helped them with their spiritual journey and understanding the reality of God. After, I interview Mariela Benites about the Ravi Zacharias International Ministries - Latin America. She tells me about how she joined the team, what they do in Peru and across Latin America, and also we talk about how studying apologetics has helped her with her own walk with God. We also discuss in depth what exactly it actually means for Peru to be a Catholic nation. Turns out, not even a lot of the “Catholic” universities are all that religious. With that in mind, we discuss what foreign missions could do to help the local, Gospel-preaching Church here in Peru. Near the end, I seize the opportunity and ask an actual apologist (1) How can we know that God is real? And (2) If God is good, why did He allow the Corona Virus? As you might expect, she gives great answers to both of the questions.
